Quick answer
An after-hours call-out carries a premium on top of the normal repair price; the part and labour are priced the same as a scheduled visit. If the door can be secured safely, a next-morning slot is cheaper — call emergency garage door repair and we will tell you honestly.
Emergency pricing confuses people because it is quoted differently by different companies. Here is how ours works and how to decide whether you need it.

What counts as an emergency
- The door is stuck open and the house is insecure
- The door is off its tracks or hanging
- A vehicle you need is trapped
- Storm or impact damage
- A commercial bay is down mid-shift
How the premium works
The premium pays for the response — a technician dispatched at night, weekend or holiday. The repair itself is the same price as daytime. Every premium is quoted before we roll.
When waiting saves money
If the door is closed and stable, leave it and book the next slot. If it is stuck open, we may be able to talk you through securing it manually. See garage door stuck halfway: safe steps.
Commercial emergencies
Business downtime usually costs more than any call-out premium. Contract customers get priority — read about commercial garage door repair.
